DAMAGED ITEM

The Chore Experts does not carry general liability insurance with an independent insurance company. If a cleaning technician accidentally damages an item in your residential home or commercial business and your claim for reimbursement is approved, The Chore Experts will issue a credit toward a completed cleaning up to a maximum of one hundred dollars ($100) per account.

In the event the cleaning technician damages an item in your residential home or commercial business, the cleaning technician will take a picture of the damaged item and send the picture by text message to the owners of The Chore Experts. You (customer) must submit a claim of the damaged item to The Chore Experts via text message or email within 24 hours of the cleaning appointment in order for The Chore Experts to process the claim.

The customer must provide to The Chore Experts all necessary damaged item info (purchase receipt, make, model number, material, description) within 72 hours of the cleaning date. If the damaged item is no longer available, The Chore Experts will search online to determine the fair market value of a similar item by factoring the make, size, material and description of the item.  Once the fair market value amount is approved by the customer, The Chore Experts will apply the fair market value amount as a credit toward a cleaning appointment. It is important to note the fair market value amount must be approved by the owner of The Chore Experts before a credit can be issued.

If you discover a damaged item in your residential home or commercial business and you did not receive notification of the damaged item by text message or email, you should report the damaged item to the owners of The Chore Experts by email or text message (along with picture of damaged item) within 24 hours of the cleaning appointment. Your claim may be denied if the assigned cleaning crew technicians do not accept responsibility for damaging the item.
